ConstructAid is committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and subscribers. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, safeguards, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Account Information (name, company, contact, role), Project Data (drawings, schedules, budgets), Financial Data (subscription payments via gateways; no raw card storage), Usage Data (IP, device, logs), Communications (chat, comments, support tickets).

How We Use Your Information

This would be used to provide services, process payments, enhance security, improve user experience, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing of Information

Shared with service providers (hosting, payments), project collaborators, legal authorities, or during business transfers. Never sold to advertisers.

Data Security

TLS encryption, AES-256 at rest, role-based access, MFA for admins, audit logs, daily backups, 24–48h incident response SLA.

Data Retention

Data retained while account is active. Deleted 90 days after closure unless required by law. Project records retained for 5 years or as legally required.

User Rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability, withdraw consent (opt-out of marketing). NDPR/GDPR aligned.

International Transfers

Data may be stored abroad (e.g., AWS). Safeguards include SCCs and NDPR/GDPR compliance.

Children’s Privacy

Not intended for children under 16. No data knowingly collected from minors.
